Kids Classes We offer through the YogaKids program, a unique approach to integrative learning using yoga as a pathway. Providing fun imaginative, playful yoga classes using reading, storytelling, music, creative arts, science and math using yoga movement to educate the “whole” child. Our classes help children to explore, learn and grow physically, mentally and emotionally.
School Classes Yoga has been proven to have wonderful benefits for children: increases strength, flexibility, coordination, self-awareness, and self-esteem. Yoga poses inspire creativity, as well as provide a sense of calmness and relaxation. Yoga builds self-confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness and improves focus, concentration, breathing, listening and relaxation skills. We offer a fun approach to learning using yoga in the classroom setting.
Preschool and Daycare Classes Children’s bodies are still developing and our daycare/preschool or school programs enable children to enjoy being active while learning new skills and techniques and to help them as they grow. Yoga classes use animated poses and basic stretching to promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Children learn how to focus, centre, relax and develop self-control with various breathing and visualisation techniques. With the practice of fun postures, group games, breathing and basic anatomy children will learn self-respect and respect for others.
Tweens and Teens Classes This class brings tweens and teens together to explore how yoga can help them better understand and appreciate their changing bodies, relationships, and life on and off the mat. Yoga can help tweens/ teens move through these challenging years helping them to make healthy choices with confidence. Classes blend physical strength-building postures, breathwork, relaxation, group games and partner poses to empower teens and inspire self-awareness and body confidence. This class is a wonderful opportunity for tweens/ teens to come together, laugh, and build friendships.
Family Classes This is a fun and playful yoga class bringing all family members together.These classes allow family members to become more centred and calm, while increasing strength and flexibility. It also creates a special environment for parents/caregivers to bond with their children and to improve communication.
Yoga classes bring families together using group and partner poses. Enabling our children to feel empowered and giving adults quality time to grow, feel supported and guided.
It is an informal and active session allowing kids to have fun and helps adults finding their inner child. Everyone is welcome! Adult Yoga Classes We offer private group or individual sessions to help you in your yoga practice, whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for sometime. Hatha, Flow, Yin and Restorative.
Birthday Parties 2-hour parties can be a fun themed event including yoga, party games, dancing, and arts & crafts.
Parents provide their own snacks, food, cake and treats to serve (parents are responsible for all serving supplies (plates, utensils, cups, napkins etc.)
